Tooth Repair services
If you have a cavity, or a chipped or broken tooth, then you’ll need our Tooth Repair services as soon as possible. Even though our teeth are remarkably strong, tooth decay can still cause considerable damage, especially if left untreated. Whether you need a filling, cap, crown, or tooth bonding, we’ll repair your teeth quickly, painlessly, and efficiently.
If you have chipped off or lost a small part of your tooth, especially if it is towards the center of the tooth, then we’ll most likely use a filling to fix the cavity. This is a common dental procedure, which involves filling in the hole with a special mixture to keep the rest of the tooth healthy and strong. Modern tooth fillings are barely distinguishable from normal teeth, so you won’t even be able to tell the difference afterward.
If the damage to your teeth is more visible, then we’ll fill in the gap with a resin designed to look like a regular tooth, using a process called bonding. This process involves designing the resin to match the tooth and hardening it using an ultraviolet light. In the end, the bonded tooth will look, feel, and function exactly like a regular tooth. It will be as though you had never lost any part of the tooth in the first place.
If the damage or decay is more substantial, involving a large part of the tooth, we’ll remove part of the remaining tooth and place a crown, designed specifically to both look natural and protect the tooth from further damage. Crowns made from porcelain or resin can easily be made to look perfectly natural, like any other tooth, though they are not quite as strong and durable as metal crowns, which tend to stand out much more. We’ll consult with you to find out which type of crown is best for you and most fits your circumstances.
